Milwaukee Art Museum Exhibition Campaign

Sometimes the best way to draw interest to an art exhibition is to dig in and find a deeper understanding of what’s so great about it beyond “pretty pictures,” and then figure some ways to share it in an easily digestible way. I knew nothing of Thomas Hart Benton, but soon came to appreciate his dark, cartoony take on subjects like war, Hollywood, and Americana.

This campaign was one of my favorites to work on, but I’m especially proud of the radio and video spots, both of which use audio to really drive home the nature of Benton’s work.
